By making a payment on your order, you are agreeing to these policies.
Design
Client understands that Dandelion Cakes and Bakes will interpret and execute the decided cake or cupcake design as close as possible to any picture references used in the design process, with the understanding that slight variations may be present in the final design. Client agrees to give Dandelion Cakes and Bakes the freedom to make creative changes to the decided design if the need should arise due to compromised stability or structural integrity of the order, or other certain emergencies.
Design changes
The client may request changes to the order design up until two weeks prior to the pick up date. The client understands that making any changes to the design, flavors, or decor of the order will affect the final cost, and may require additional payment, even if the original deposits have already been made. If there are less than two weeks prior to pickup, Dandelion Cakes and Bakes may not be able to accept any further changes to the design of the order due to scheduling, purchasing, and preparation .
Deposit and payment
In order to book the order, Dandelion Cakes and Bakes requires a non-refundable deposit of half the final price. The final payment is due one week prior to pick up/delivery. The client understands that should they cancel their order, that deposit is non-refundable, and the rest is refundable at the discretion of Dandelion Cakes and Bakes, based on what has been spent in preparation for the order and/or what profits were lost on other potential orders. Your order is not considered fully booked until I receive payment, so if another client is looking to book on the same day, I will book whoever completes their payment first.
Pick up/Delivery
If the client is picking up their order, they understand that Dandelion Cakes and Bakes has done everything to ensure the structural security and packaging of their order is adequate. Once it is in the possession of the client, it is the client’s responsibility to transport and care for cake safely. Dandelion Cakes and Bakes cannot be held liable for any damages that occur in the clients care. Client understands that any last minute changes in delivery date/time/location will be only accommodated at the availability of Dandelion Cakes and Bakes. If the client has opted to have the order delivered, changes to the delivery location will result in a change to the delivery fee.
Company responsibility
In the case of an unavoidable situation, such as a car accident or hazardous weather conditions, Dandelion Cakes and Bakes cannot be held liable for more than the cost of the ordered cake. A full or partial refund will be offered to the client. In the event of a personal or family emergency, Dandelion Cakes and Bakes will forfeit all payments. A refund in full will be offered to the customer.
Allergen Disclaimer:
Although not all flavors/recipes produced by Dandelion Cakes and Bakes specifically contain allergens, all products are produced in a kitchen that also processes allergens. Dandelion Cakes and Bakes cannot be held responsible for any medical issues that arise from consumption of product.
